A private beachfront estate in the gated Iyari enclave of Punta Mita, where a series of pavilions steps down through tropical forest to a secluded cove on Litibú Bay.
Casa Litibú was conceived as a modern bohemian retreat, and it begins in the jungle. Footpaths wind past running creeks and through dense green before the land opens out high above the Pacific, with the forested slopes of Monkey Mountain rising directly across the bay.
Designed by architect Juan Collignon and completed in 2022, the house unfolds as a sequence of open pavilions linked by garden walkways, each one turned to the breeze and the sound of the surf. Interiors by Karen Collignon draw on India and Southeast Asia: richly grained tropical timbers, ceramics and pieces gathered from around the world, set against clean contemporary lines.
At its centre is an infinity pool on the scale of a beach club, with steps leading down to a private stretch of sand and a reef just offshore for snorkelling. Seven suites sleep up to 16 guests, a full team of staff takes care of every detail, and the estate comes with premier access to Punta Mita's beach clubs and two Jack Nicklaus championship golf courses.
